Mobile operator Aircel today announced free 5GB of 3G data with some voice pack in one telecom circle.
Data and voice combo packs – RC497, RC555, RC599 and RC799 – in Andhra Pradesh and Telegana will offer free 5GB of 3G data.
The free 3G offer follows competition from Reliance Jio Infocomm. Jio is targeting nearly 40 million to 50 million mobile customers before 31 December 2016.
“This time Aircel is offering 3G data free of cost to our customers. On RC555 customer gets full talk time for Rs 555 and 5GB 3G data. This means 5G of 3G data is practically free to the customer. By launching such great value for money products Aircel continues to offer the lowest price for 1GB 3G data,” said Venkatesan, circle operations head – AP & Telangana, Aircel.
Aircel said RC497 gives 10GB of 3G data.
In addition, Aircel’s RC599 offers unlimited local calls and 1.5GB of 3G data, while RC799 comes with unlimited local and STD calls and 2.5GB of 3G data. All the packs have a validity of 28 days.
