Telecom network operator Aircel has slashed the price of 3G data services across the country.

Aircel said its 1GB of 3G data will be priced at Rs 24 for 28 days. Aircel has reduced the price of 3G Internet to meet competition from 4G data offers from Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular and Vodafone India.

To avail the Rs 24 3G data plan for 1GB of 3G data, all existing and new mobile customers of Aircel need to recharge with Rs 329 for 2GB of 3G data with a validity of 28 days. These customers can enjoy 1GB of 3G data with every subsequent recharge of Rs 24.

Aircel said the 3G data plan offer is available across telecom circles including Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Kolkata, West Bengal, Assam, North East, Bihar & Jharkhand, Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir – from Rs 24 to Rs 41.  The main recharge is available in the range of Rs 291 to Rs 329.
