MTS India adds 40 GB data plan for Rs 999

Sistema Shyam TeleServices (MTS India) today announced 40 GB data plan for Rs 999 with 30 days validity.

The 40 GB offer is a post-paid data plan, MTS said on Tuesday.

The company does not share specific details on mobile broadband data speed, a major concern for Indians.

MTS India, which competes with Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communications, Aircel, Vodafone, Idea Cellular, etc. also launched three pre-paid data plans as well.

As per the pre-paid data plans, MTS India will charge Rs 999 for 20 GB, Rs 1,298 for Rs 25 GB and Rs 1,498 for 30 GB. All these plans have 30 days validity.

This is significantly lower than MTNL data plans. For instance, MTNL, a government-owned telecom operator, charges Rs 850 for 10 GB for your pre-paid data plan for 30 days.
