Airtel 4G reaches 18 circles by launching in Madhya Pradesh

airtel-4g-reaches-madhya-pradeshTelecom network operator Bharti Airtel has expanded its 4G coverage – on 10 MHz spectrum in 1800MHz band using the FD LTE technology – to Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh.

Bharti Airtel said the utilization of 10 MHz spectrum in 1800MHz spectrum band using the FD LTE technology is an “industry-first” in India.

Airtel 4G is now available in Indore, Bhopal, Raipur, Jabalpur and Gwalior.

Airtel is offering its 4G services at 3G prices. Airtel is also offering 2GB of free 4G data with U-SIM upgrade.

Airtel 4G services are now available in 18 telecom circles across India. Airtel first launched 4G services in Kolkata in 2012. Airtel was the first telecom network operator to introduce 4G on BWA license.

“Customers in cities of Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh can now look forward to a great smartphone experience with Airtel 4G,” said Vir Inder Nath, CEO – Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, Bharti Airtel, in a statement.

Airtel is offering 10 GB of 4G data for Rs 249 with any new 4G smartphone they purchase. For Rs 249 recharge, Airtel is crediting 1 GB of data instantly, while mobile users can claim additional 9 GB data by sending the SMS 4G Offer to 52141.

Under the postpaid plan, Airtel has Infinity plans with starting price of Rs 1,199 offering 4G data with unlimited voice calls for STD, local and roaming.

Under the prepaid plan, Airtel is offering free 4G data for 90 days for Rs 1495.

The Rs 1,498 4G prepaid pack offers 6GB 4G data upfront and customers can get 1GB of 4G data for Rs 54 for the next 12 months.

Airtel said monthly plans for 4G devices start from Rs 450. Customer can also avail the advance rental plans starting from Rs 4500 to avail their new device free of cost.
