Bharti Airtel expands 4G services to Rohtak in Haryana

Bharti Airtel has expanded its 4G services to Rohtak, Haryana.

Rohtak becomes the 5th city in Haryana to experience home broadband and internet on dongles, Wi-Fi CPEs, 4G Hotspots and Wi-Fi dongles.

Earlier, Reliance Jio Infocomm said that it will postpone the launch of its 4G broadband services to December from July / August this year.

“Following the launch of 4G services in Ambala, Karnal, Yamunanagar, Hisar in Haryana, Rohtak becomes the 5th town in the state to get Airtel 4G. Over the last few months, we at Airtel have made significant investments in building a robust 4G network here,” said Manu Sood, hub CEO – Upper North, Bharti Airtel (India).

Bharti Airtel is offering home Wi-Fi CPEs bundled with affordable 4G plans for a price of Rs 2500. These services are available across select Airtel retail outlets in Rohtak. Apart from home broadband, Airtel is offering Airtel 4G on dongles, 4G Hotspots and Wi-Fi dongles.

The company has set up special demo zones and kiosks at Airtel Store at Munjal Complex, Near Axis Bank, Sen Bhakt Chowk, Rohtak. Airtel has introduced a special pack of Rs 995 for heavy data (CPE) users which will offer 10 GB of 4G data.

Airtel launched its 4G services in Ambala (City and Cantt.),Karnal, Yamunanagar, Hisar, Bengaluru, Pune, Nasik, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mangaluru, Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Phagwara, Kapurthala, Moga, Bathinda and Patiala. It launched 4G trials for existing Airtel customers in Delhi, Hyderabad, Vizag, Madhurai, Chennai, Coimbatore and Mumbai.
