Vodafone 4G reaches major towns of West Bengal

Vodafone India has rolled out 4G services – on the spectrum 1800 MHz band — in all the major towns in West Bengal.

Vodafone’s SuperNet 4G services have reached Alipurduar, Purulia, Jalpaiguri and Coochbehar, four districts of West Bengal, in last 15 days.

Earlier, Vodafone SuperNet 4G services reached Siliguri, Darjeeling, Gangtok, Behrampur, Bashirhat, Nabadwip, Bardhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Bolpur, Krishnanagar, Midnapore, Kharagpur, Alipurduar and Purulia in Bengal.

Currently, Vodafone SuperNet 4G services are available in 17 towns in the West Bengal circle.

Vodafone India will expand 4G services in the rest of the cities in Bengal circle over the next few months.

Vodafone India says its 4G network will be available in 2,400 towns and across 8 additional circles in the country over the next few months.

Assam & North East, Maharashtra & Goa, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu (including Chennai) and UP (W) will be the new circles for Vodafone. At present, Vodafone 4G is available in Mumbai, Delhi & NCR, Kolkata, Karnataka, Kerala, Haryana, Gujarat, UP (East) and West Bengal.

Vodafone India has more than 18 million customers in West Bengal.
