Vodafone launches 4G service on 1800 MHz spectrum in Hisar

vodafone-4g-launch-in-haryanaTelecom network operator Vodafone India on Friday announced the launch of 4G service on the 1800 MHz band spectrum in Hisar, Haryana.

Vodafone India is planning to expand the 4G coverage across Haryana state over the next few months.

Vodafone SuperNet 4G service in Haryana is built on fibre backhaul, and is supported by 3G services on a new and modern network.

Vodafone offers 2G, 3G and 4G services on its convergent radio technology in Haryana.

Vodafone India has over 5.5 million customers in Haryana. Vodafone 4G is already available in Karnal, Panipat, Sonipat, Rohtak and Hisar.

Vodafone SuperNet 4G services will be available in 1,000 towns across the country by end of the year. The ten circles of Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Karnataka, Kerala, Haryana, Odisha, Gujarat, UP (E) and West Bengal, together contribute to just under 70 percent of Vodafone India’s data revenues.

Vodafone India invested INR 114 crore in 2015-16 to expand, modernize and build technology and energy efficient network in Haryana. Vodafone has a retail footprint with 286 Vodafone branded stores in the state.
