Allot powers Vodafone Germany’s Secure Net offering

Allot Communications said Allot WebSafe Personal is powering Vodafone Germany’s Secure Net offering, a network-based Security-as-a-Service (SECaaS) solution for mobile users.

Allot WebSafe Personal enables Vodafone Germany to roll out web security services including anti-malware and parental control to generate incremental revenue. Vodafone Germany offers Allot’s SECaaS solution, which protects user endpoints and enhances business productivity, to small and medium-sized business (SMB) and enterprise customers.

“Our Secure Net service powered by Allot allows customers to use the mobile Internet safely and economically by filtering out harmful content and malware before it reaches the mobile device, all without impacting device performance or battery life,” said Frank Vahldiek, director Consumer Services at Vodafone Germany.

Broadband operators can deploy Allot WebSafe Personal in multi-tenancy mode, allowing users to customize their own security settings, or in a single-tenancy mode that offers a standard set of security features for users.
