Recently, ABI Research said that BT has been rolling up its sleeves and introducing 4G services. The telecom had exited the mobility market in 2001 when it spun off BT Cellnet as the rebranded O2. BT has been keen to put in place its own quad play bundle based on Internet, voice telephony services, mobile services, and BT Vision (its pay IPTV service).

BT Consumer recorded 9 percent growth in revenue in the fourth quarter and the lowest line losses in over five years.
