TE Connectivity DAS solution tapped to improve interior mobile coverage at Copenhagen Airport

TE Connectivity has deployed its InterReach Fusion distributed antenna system (DAS) at Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup, Scandinavia to improve interior coverage for mobile services.

The deployment provides 2G, 3G and 4G services in the 900/1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, and 2600 MHz frequency bands as well as LTE MIMO service.

The system is owned and operated by four Danish operators, TDC, TT-netværket (Telia and Telenor) and Hi3G and supports all of the major mobile service providers in Denmark.

Besides more than 24 million passengers per year and the airport’s 1,700 employees rely on mobile devices to facilitate critical communications. Due to a continuous growth in passengers, Copenhagen Airport selected TE Connectivity to deliver high-quality mobile coverage and capacity in large public venues.
