C-COM bags $1 million in orders from Russia

Telecom Lead Europe: C-COM Satellite Systems, a global
provider of mobile auto-deploying satellite antenna systems, has received
$1,000,000 in orders for its iNetVu mobile antenna products from Russia.

“The Russian market continues to contribute
significantly to C-COM’s revenue stream and is an important and rapidly growing
market for our company. Russian customers value the cost effectiveness and high
reliability of our iNetVuantenna systems which, in many instances, are deployed
to deliver life saving communication solutions,” said Leslie Klein,
president and CEO of C-COM.

The iNetVu Mobile satellite antenna systems will be
used for oil and gas exploration, military communication and disaster
management. Some of the systems have already shipped and the balance will be
delivered before the end of April.

A number of antenna systems are configured with the
iNetVu 7000C controllers, which support the GLONASS satellite navigation
system.

The company said that the GPS system is operated by the
Russian Space Forces on behalf of the Government of Russia. The same controller
already supports the US GPS system. C-COM is one of the first companies in the
world offering its Russian and other global customers the benefits of worldwide
GPS coverage provided by two satellite navigation systems.

Last year, C-COM Satellite Systems, announced the launch of its new iNetVu 985 Ka-band
antenna system. The iNetVu 985 is a 98 cm Ka-band vehicle-mounted antenna
representing C-COM’s next generation of mobile, auto-deploy antenna systems.
