Eton Corporation unveils FRX Series of safety radios

By Telecom Lead Team:
Eton Corporation, a creator of green-powered consumer products, launched three
new self-powered FRX Series of safety radios.

Each radio provides unique benefits to help stay prepared
during instances of severe weather and other unexpected situations.

At Eton, we urge consumers to think about preparedness
before disaster hits. 2011 presented many severe weather situations and our
mission is to help all families be empowered by safety and preparedness as we
enter 2012,” said Esmail
Amid-Hozour, CEO of Etón Corporation.

Each self-powered radio in the FRX Series utilizes
hand-turbine energy to re-charge the internal Ni-MH lithium ion battery. The
hand-turbine was re-engineered to be more efficient, with less cranking
yielding more power.

The FRX Series includes three models FRX 3, FRX 2 and FRX
1 and is developed based on suggestions from Etón’s passionate customers to
improve performance.

The FRX 3 features an AM/FM/WB digital radio and display
with NOAA weather alert. It comes with both a solar panel and hand turbine for
recharging. The FRX 3 also features direct power transfer technology, a bright
LED flashlight, glow-in-the-dark indicator for easy location, AC and DC input,
headphone jack and digital alarm.

The second product in the line, the FRX 2, boasts an
AM/FM/WB analog radio and both a solar panel and hand-turbine for re-charging
the internal battery. Other features are same as in the FRX 3 excluding the
digital alarm.

The FRX 1 is the most compact radio in the series,
utilizes the power of a hand-turbine for re-charging the internal battery and
also houses an LED flashlight, offering the essential components in a small
device.

Eton continues
its long-standing partnership with the American Red Cross. The products in the
FRX Series will also be available in an exclusive co-branded line with the
charitable organization.

Recently, Eton Corporation announced the
launch of Mobius rechargeable battery case with solar panel that needs only one
hour in the sun to provide an additional 25 minutes of talk time.
