NTT Communications selects Hibernia to provide 100G network

Telecom Lead Asia: NTT Communications has selected Hibernia Networks to provide 100G network capacity to support the company’s European expansion and its NTT Communications Global IP Network (GIN).

As part of the agreement, Hibernia Networks will deploy multiple terrestrial and subsea crossing routes to ensure complete network diversity.

NTT Communications, which has IPv4/IPv6 Global Tier-1 IP Network and over 130 secure data centers to offer IP networking, consultancy, architecture, security and cloud services for enterprise customers, provides the largest lit capacity for transporting data between Japan and the US.

“As NTT Communications continues extending its global footprint to meet increasing data demand, we selected Hibernia Networks to expand our network infrastructure because of its technology, experience and personalized support,” said Chris Lathrop, senior director Network Infrastructure, NTT Communications Global IP Network for NTT America.
