Pasternack launches latest right angle RF adapters

Pasternack, a manufacturer of RF, microwave and millimeter wave products, has launched its latest high frequency right angle RF adapters.

The company will be targeting military and commercial markets for applications such as wireless communications, test labs, equipment racks and many other space-limited applications.

Pasternack is offering the new microwave and millimeter wave right angle RF adapters with four in-series and between-series connector options including 1.85mm, 2.4mm, 2.92mm and 3.5mm with the upper operating frequency ranging from 34.5 GHz with the 3.5mm versions up to 50 GHz with 1.85mm and 2.4mm adapter versions.

The company said the right angle RF adapters exhibit low VSWR which ranges from 1.25:1 up to 1.5:1 depending on the configuration — allowing 90 degree turns in spaces too small to accommodate the bending of many coaxial cables These adapters can also reduce excessive strain on the cables in certain tight-space applications.

Pasternack recently launched new 75 Ohm test cables up to 3 GHz — designed to support the harsh use in the test lab and for testing of 75 Ohm communications system. Technologies such as cable TV, MoCA 2.0 and MoCA 1.1 (Media over Coax Alliance) and DOCSIS (Data over Cable Service Interface Specifications) require these kinds of high frequency test cables.

Pasternack’s new series 75 Ohm test cables are available in two configurations including a type-N male to type-N made or a type-N male to type-F Male. F-cables broaden the usability and value of the test cables as it performs up to 3GHz.

These connectors are used to ensure an accurate and secure connection to both the device under test as well as the analyzer. 75 Ohm test cables are suitable for engineering labs, production environment and quality testing facilities.

The company said 75 Ohm test cables are used with 75 Ohm S-parameter test systems and these cables meet ANSI/SCTE 99 2009 pull force and ANSI/SCTE 98 2009 tightening torque standards. Pasternack’s 75 Ohm flexible armored test cables exhibit excellent insertion loss of <0.5 dB at 3GHz and return loss is 28 dB.

Few days age, Pasternack releases new broadband, high power coaxial limiters to protect sensitive low power RF receivers and other microwave circuit.

Pasternack has also introduced a new line of broadband RF power combiners in December last year. RF power combiners are available in 2 way and 4 way configurations and deliver high power up to 600 Watts.
