Verizon expands 4G LTE coverage in Wilton, New Hampshire

Telecom Lead America: Verizon Wireless has further
expanded its 4G LTE network coverage by adding Wilton and New Hampshire.

Verizon Wireless aims to launch 4G LTE services in more
than 400 markets in the U.S., spanning 49 states, by the end of 2012.

In order to increase 4G LTE coverage, the operator has
invested more than $3 billion into its New England network since
2000, including more than $297 million in 2011 alone.

Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE customers in these new coverage
areas will be able to experience average data rates of 5 to 12 megabits per
second (Mbps) on the downlink and 2 to 5 Mbps on the uplink.

People across New Hampshire are increasingly relying on
tablets, smartphones and apps to stay organized, connected and entertained. Our
investment in Hillsborough County and across New England has kept us ahead of
these consumer trends and underscores our belief that 4G LTE delivers the best
value to customers by maximizing the performance of their wireless devices,”
said Richard Enright, executive director for Network for Verizon Wireless.

Verizon Wireless covers two more areas with its 4G LTE service

Recently, Verizon Wireless expanded 4G-LTE high-speed
data network coverage in the Glens Falls and Lake George areas.

The company’s 4G LTE network covers more than two-thirds
of the U.S. population. Verizon’s customers in 304 markets are now able to use
fast speeds of 4G LTE network with a wide variety of 4G LTE devices, including
the DROID 4 and the DROID RAZR MAXX by Motorola.
