Anritsu unveils CPRI RF measurement ability to handheld analyzers

Anritsu CPRI RF

Anritsu has added the CPRI RF measurement capability to its series of handheld analyzers namely, Site Master, Spectrum Master, and Cell Master.

This addition will reduce and simplify testing of Remote Radio Heads (RRHs) set above the 4G towers.

The new option will cut down network OpEx by allowing simpler identification of interference sources on the radio uplink at ground level, saving on the time wasted by the tower climbing crews.

Anritsu providing field test solutions for the installation, maintenance, and optimization of 4G networks, which are used to ensure that wireless networks meet key performance indicators (KPI), thereby maximizing network operation and reducing customer churn.

The CPRI RF Measurement option will add various features while installing, maintaining and optimizing wireless networks in the E series analyzers. For example, the Spectrum/Spectrogram Tune & Zoom function will allow zoomed view on a displayed signal to examine signals and spot their origins.

Also, the Auto Detect function automatically configures the CPRI link to minimize set up time and potential errors. This feature backed by pre-configured radio setups reduces complexity of matching the test instrument with the CPRI link.

The company claims that the sweep speed is 10 times that of the rivals and allows the device to capture all interfering signals, including intermittent interferes.

The company previously launched the Anritsu BTS Master which is a base station analyzer allowing CPRI RF test solutions, Network Master Pro MT1000A for testing CPRI optical links, and Network Master Flex  MT1100A optical transport testers to create a complete CPRI test portfolio.
