Tektronix unveils new logo and brand strategy

Tektronix Inc Pat ByrneTest and measurement vendor Tektronix on Monday launched a new logo and brand strategy – ahead of the company’s 70th birthday.

The US technology company said the new logo is the most significant change in its visual identity in 24 years. The refreshed logo is pointing the way toward the next phase of the company’s evolution, focused on accelerating the realization of innovative, world-changing technologies.

The angle incorporated within the logotype is an upwards gesture of progress. The sans-serif type is given character by subtly clipping the ‘T’ letterforms, echoing the blue angle. Simple, definitive lines reflect our promise of performance, said Tektronix.

Pat Byrne, president of Tektronix, said: “We have been moving toward a stronger focus on applications and solutions to address specific customer needs. The new brand strategy reflects our evolution from a product-centric hardware company to an application-focused technology company focused on accelerating the measurement insight path for our customers with increasing accuracy, speed, and ease.”

The T&M solution supplier has rolled out the new logo across Tektronix digital and physical properties. The company has also re-designed Tektronix websites to offer test and measurement solutions to its customers around the world.

The main competitors of Tektronix include Anritsu, Keysight Technologies, JDSU, among others.
