Reliance Communications on Thursday said its 3G subscribers reached 13 million.
Its revenue in the first quarter of fiscal 2015 rose 2.1 percent to Rs 5,523 crore, while profit grew 21.4 percent to Rs 132 crore.
Out of this, India telecom revenue was Rs 4,718 crore, registering a growth of 1.3 percent.
Reliance Communications, the Anil Ambani-promoted telecom venture, has 13 million 3G subscribers, slightly ahead of Bharti Airtel’s 12.53 million.

Reliance Communications said its RPM rose 4 percent to 43.8 paisa.
MoU of Reliance Communications was 103.1 billion during the first quarter of fiscal 2015.
Reliance Communications total ARPU rose 14.3 percent to Rs 136.
The company has 28.6 million data customers that increased 51.3 percent.
Data traffic rose 78 percent to 55,276 million MB.
Reliance 3G vs Airtel 3G
Airtel in July said its mobile data user base increased 52 percent to 39.32 million. Mobile data users represent 18.8 percent of total user base in Q1 fiscal 2015 against 13.6 percent in Q1 fiscal 2014.
MBs on Airtel network grew 96 percent to 55,610 million.
Data ARPU of Airtel enhanced 8 percent to Rs 139. Reliance Communications does not share specific data ARPU in the financial statement.
Airtel said data usage per user increased 26 percent to 495MB. Data realization per MB decreased 14 percent to 28.04 MB.
