Robi Axiata, a mobile operator in Bangladesh, has utilized Tango Telecom to launch its Dynamic Discounting Solution.
Since implementing the Tango DRE, Robi Axiata has increased its data revenues by more than 100 percent and the days of internet usage by 8 times per month.
The Tango Telecom Data Retail Engine solution enables the real-time dynamic discounting of Robi Axiata’s data services based on advanced context-aware analytics including cell load, location, time of day, subscriber type, usage patterns, etc.
Robi Axiata deployed Tango Telecom’s Dynamic Discounting as an upgrade to the existing Tango DRE. This is the third expansion order received from the leading Bangladesh mobile operator since Tango Telecom’s solution went live in November 2013.
Robi Axiata aims to monetize idle times and locations on its network and increase service innovation and service velocity utilizing Tango Telecom’s Dynamic Discounting for Data. Real-time data monetization, stimulation of data usage, optimization of network resources and maximizing data revenues are some of the main benefits.
