Aricent Group wins 35th LTE engagement

Aricent Group, a technology services company, announced that it
has reached the landmark of 35 LTE engagements globally.

 

The company said that it has become the main supplier to
some of the most prominent original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the
marketplace, due to its internal R&D investment in providing comprehensive
software frameworks for LTE.

 

The company added that its software has been incorporated
into various solutions by OEMs to to speed up development and focus on
differentiated features.

 

“LTE is the fastest developing system in the history
of mobile communication, driving OEMs to look for strategic partners. The
unprecedented demand for LTE products and solutions is driving our success in
the market place,” said CP Murali, executive vice president and general
manager, Product Engineering Services, Aricent Group.

 

The solutions embedded with Aricent’s software are live
and in advanced trials with multiple service provider network deployments
across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific.

 

The company’s LTE customers include tier-one network
equipment providers, device vendors, and chipset manufacturers.

 

“It’s understood that the LTE market is growing at
an extremely fast pace. This growth, however, brings challenges for many
players in the ecosystem,” said Peter Jarich, Service Director with
Current Analysis.

 

A few days back, Aricent Group and ADAX, a provider of high-performance packet-processing, security and
network infrastructure, collaborated to develop a Long Term Evolution (LTE)
Evolved Packet Core (EPC).

 

Through this collaboration, the companies will offer a
pre-integrated LTE core network offering to OEMs and System Integrators and
provide complete solutions for niche small-mid subscriber markets such as
public safety, rural and enterprise.
