LightSquared to deliver 4G wireless connectivity to Quantum Networks

LightSquared, a wholesale carrier building a nationwide
wireless broadband network, announced that it has signed a wholesale network
agreement with Quantum Networks, a global provider in wireless solutions, to
provide 4G wireless connectivity to Quantum customers.

LightSquared’s 4G-LTE network enables Quantum to bundle
connectivity with its devices to meet the needs of its customers who want access
to world-class wireless broadband services. With this partnership Quantum can
take advantage of the unprecedented demand for wireless connectivity. It will
also be able to generate new recurring revenue streams.

“With LightSquared, we can now go the final mile and
deliver the most advanced wireless services to our customers. Before, we were
only able to meet customers halfway while they scrambled for reliable
connectivity. Now we can offer a complete communications solution while also
maximizing our revenue opportunity,” said Ari Zoldan, chief executive
officer of Quantum Networks.

LightSquared entered this partnership as part of its expansion
of customer base that includes wireless carriers, device manufacturers,
nationwide retailers, regional phone companies and mobile content providers.

“Quantum Networks epitomizes the entrepreneurial and
innovative spirit that will drive the growth of wireless broadband in this
country. LightSquared and its wholesale business model are empowering bold
companies such as Quantum Networks to create new revenue streams and foster
much-needed competition in the U.S. wireless market,” said said Sanjiv
Ahuja, chairman and chief executive officer of LightSquared.

Recently, LightSquared and InterGlobe Communications
