TIM plans Capex of €4 bn including €3.1 bn in Italy in 2023

TIM Group has revealed that its Capex (capital expenditure) is expected to reach approximately €4 billion including €3.1 billion in Italy in 2023.

TIM Board of Directors, which met under the leadership of Salvatore Rossi, chairman of the group, has approved the 2023-2025 Industrial Plan presented by Pietro Labriola, CEO of the group, which follows the transformation process started in 2022.

TIM Group is targeting service revenues to grow in low single digit in 2023 with the domestic business broadly stable and high single digit growth in Brazil.

TIM Group revenues from services are expected to grow low single digit CAGR during 2022-25.

TIM Group revenues grew by 3.3 percent to €4.3 billion in the fourth quarter of 2022.

TIM Group service revenues increased for the third consecutive quarter, up by 3.6 percent to €3.9 billion euros thanks to the positive contribution from Brazil and Italy.

TIM Italy strengthened the premium positioning strategy Value vs. Volume with new measures aiming to increase the rationality of both the fixed and mobile market.

TIM Italy had 30.4 million mobile subscribers. The number of fixed lines reduced by approximately 350 thousand units compared with 2021. Average revenues of retail customers (ARPU BB+ICT) are up 11 percent. In 2022, 545 thousand new retail and wholesale Ultrabroadband lines were activated, reaching 10.6 million units, up by approximately 5 percent.
