Conterra Networks reveals $61 mn investment plan

Conterra Networks is making an initial investment of $26 million and an additional $34.6 million in over 5 years in fiber network projects.

Conterra Networks built its 100 percent fiber network in the North Carolina counties with symmetrical service and speeds of up to 10 Gbps and 99.99 percent network reliability. The company’s local team manages the all-fiber network, which is now available to 6,167 businesses and growing.

Conterra Networks is investing significantly in communities in North Carolina, including Salisbury, Kannapolis, Jacksonville, Morehead City, Statesville, Mooresville, Newton, Hickory, Morganton, Sanford, Rocky Mount, Greenville, Pinehurst, and Southern Pines.

Conterra Networks has 13,250 fiber miles, 2,700 schools served, and over 7,500 on-net locations to date.
