Telecom Lead India: Exset, a UK-based Broadcast Technology and Solutions company, has selected Hyundai Digital Technology (HDT), a manufacturer of digital set-top boxes in Korea, as its STB strategic partner.
With cable digitization gaining momentum across the world, the partnership provides significant opportunity to both companies.
HDT currently provides MPEG4 Set-Top-Box service (STBs) for One TV, the first nationwide digital terrestrial TV platform service in Cambodia. Cambodian televisions are expected to switch to Digital Video Broadcasting Terrestrial (DVB-T) in 2015.

Exset kicks off initiative for Indian television cable industry
Exset recently kicked off its India initiative for the Indian television cable industry.
At the Digitization is Monetization, an event for cable operators, Exset introduced various models which could be adopted by the cable operators during the digitization process across Metro Cities during the first phase of the cable digitization.
