Airtel taps HP Cloud services aggregation platform for enterprise biz

Telecom Lead India: Bharti Airtel, India’s #1 mobile operator, has tapped HP Cloud services Aggregation Platform.

Airtel, promoted by billionaire Sunil Mittal, has utilized HP’s Aggregation Platform for offering a full suite of SaaS and IaaS products. The HP Cloud solution is currently integrated with Airtel’s existing BSS OSS systems.

The HP cloud solution enables Airtel, which is focusing more enterprise business for additional revenue streams, to allow its telecom customers to locate, subscribe and consume the cloud offerings as per their business needs.

“As a global telecommunication operator, Airtel offers a full suite of SaaS and IaaS products on HP Cloud services Aggregation Platform. HP’s Aggregation Platform for SaaS is integrated with our existing BSS OSS systems, which allows our customers the ease to locate, subscribe and consume the cloud offerings as per their business needs,” said Najib Khan, CEO of Homes & Office at Bharti Airtel.

Meanwhile, HP secured approximately 1,000 HP Cloud System and 200 managed cloud customers in more than 60 countries, as well as signed on thousands of users for the company’s public cloud solution, HP Cloud Services.
