Vodafone India taps Mycom’s NIMS-PrOptima performance management solution

Telecom Lead @ Mobile World Congress 2013: Vodafone India has selected Mycom’s NIMS-PrOptima performance management solution.

Vodafone — with over 150 million subscribers in India — will manage the 2G and 3G mobile RAN, mobile circuit, packet core and value added service domains and it covers Vodafone’s mobile and fixed networks.

Mycom’s NIMS-PrOptima solution — implemented in Vodafone’s Super NOC (Network Operations Centre) — will provide performance reports, analysis, end-to-end optimization, capacity management, automatic performance alarming and automation across all network domains and technologies.

Mycom’s NIMS-PrOptima network performance solution provides support for multiple technologies, domains and equipment vendors across access, backhaul, core and service networks. It processes performance, configuration and services data in near real-time, has advanced correlation, analysis, reporting and visualization modules, and is highly flexible via automation, workflow and customization capabilities.
