Arkadin taps Avaya for core audio conferencing service

Telecom Lead Europe: Arkadin, a provider of collaboration
solutions, has selected Avaya Meeting Exchange to provide the worldwide
platform for its core audio conferencing service.

Through Avaya Meeting Exchange as the single worldwide
platform, the company will now serve its 25,500 customers globally.

Arkadin customers will now have access to the broadest
feature set of any conferencing solution, including easy on-demand access,
sophisticated operator/administrator applications and conference recording and
playback.

“Avaya Meeting Exchange is a very resilient,
reliable and flexible solution that enables us to give our customers high
quality audio services, no matter where we deploy it. The scalability of the
product made it easy for us to migrate to IP technology which has helped us to
reduce the cost of our infrastructure as well as operational costs and
benefited us in terms of the way we can price our services in a highly
competitive market,” said Thierry Bonhomme, Audio Product Line Director,
Arkadin.

The platform comes with API-based developer toolkits and
an open architecture that can be used to customize Arkadin’s conferencing
interfaces.

“As Arkadin expands to providing full remote
collaboration through cloud based services it’s vital that their core audio
service based on Avaya Meeting Exchange can integrate with these new services
smoothly and efficiently,” said Edouard de Fonclare, managing director, Avaya
France.

Founded in France is 2001, Arkadin employs over 1,000
people worldwide and offers local support from 50 offices in 29 countries.
