Avaya appoints new head for SME business in APAC

Telecom Lead Asia: Avaya, a provider of
business communications and collaboration systems and services, has appointed
Adil Doctor as director of its SME business for APAC region.


The Small and Medium Enterprise business area is a
priority segment for Avaya and the Asia Pacific region has a growing and
vibrant SME landscape. Working closely with our extensive network of Avaya
Connect channel partners and distributors, Adil will use his vast knowledge and
capabilities in this space to strengthen the Avaya SME focus in Asia Pacific,”
said Rick Seeto, senior director Channels & Marketing, APAC, Avaya.


Adil takes over this new responsibility on the back of
his successful role in delivering business growth as the SME leader for India
and the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries.

Avaya announces DevConnect Marketplace


The company is also strengthening its presence among
enterprise customers and channel partners. The company has unveiled Avaya DevConnect
Marketplace, a new website for customers and channel partners to engage
business communications and collaboration solutions and services for
