Telecom Lead America: GENBAND, a developer of IP
infrastructure and application solutions, has signed Black Box Network
Services, a communications system integrator, to the GENBAND Partner Advantage
Program.
The company said that this partnership opens a pathway
for businesses to transition enterprise networks to Unified Communications
applications while maximizing existing infrastructure, including seamless
integration with legacy PBX systems and support of analog, digital, UNISTIM and
SIP-based phones.

UC applications infrastructure while simultaneously offering unprecedented
interoperability with existing systems and delivering a device-agnostic
platform that can significantly reduce OPEX and CAPEX expenses for customers
without sacrificing feature rich functionality,” said Michael Laughlin, vice

Black Box has joined the program as a Platinum Member,
which is the highest level a company can attain. The company will be leveraging
GENBAND’s nearly 250 million carrier-proven IP communications lines deployed
globally.

milestone for GENBAND’s Enterprise Solutions business,” said Mark Pugerude,

The company added that Black Box customers will have
access to theGENBAND A2 Mobile Office suite, which allows end-users to use
their mobile phones and tablets as if they were wired directly to their
business office with the same Unified Communications features available on
their desktop such as video, federated and secure instant messaging.
Additionally, Black Box customers can tap into
the GENFuzion Developer Community, an open Unified Communications
application development eco-system and application library that meets highly
specialized vertical market needs.
Recently, GENBAND introduced GENBAND GENiUS IMS, a flexible and simplified network transformation
solution that provides best-in-class elements for both integrated and
distributed IMS environments.
