Celcite sets up new office in Singapore

Telecom Lead Asia: Celcite Management Solutions, a provider of automatic optimisation tools and services
for wireless networks, has opened its sales office in Singapore.

In addition to the establishment of new office, the company
has also announced the appointment of Simon Hudson as the managing director.

“This expansion of our global presence into Asia recognises
our commitment to the region as an important market for cellular
communications,” said Rahul Sharma, CEO of Celcite.

The company reckons that the new local office will allow it
help Asian mobile operators improve their network quality and efficiency, and
to reduce their OPEX spend.

On the appointment of new managing director, Rahul Sharma
said, “Simon Hudson’s established relationships with the region’s mobile
operator community will be an invaluable asset in achieving these goals, and we
are delighted to welcome him to Celcite’s global team.”

Simon has more than 17 years experience in the industry, and
has spent the past 10 years working in Asia where he has been building and
managing sales organisations that address the Asia Pacific mobile operator
market. Prior to joining Celcite he worked for Tektronix as regional director
for its Arantech division, and before that he was VP of sales for APAC with
Actix.

“Singapore is an ideal strategic base for Celcite’s
Asia Pacific operations. I am looking forward to working with mobile operators
across the region to assist them in finding new ways to optimise their networks
and improve their operational efficiencies using Celcite’s proven COPS
technology,” said Simon Hudson, regional MD for APAC with Celcite.
