Cisco unveils Connected Video Surveillance on Cisco Unified Computing System

Telecom Lead India: Cisco announced the availability of Cisco
Video Surveillance software on its award winning Unified Computing System
(Cisco UCS) platform.

By virtualizing Cisco Video Surveillance software, Cisco
offers hyper scalability and capacity, lower cost of ownership and simplified
management to customers.

The Video Surveillance Manager on UCS solution represents
the first Cisco Video Surveillance Building Block that meets the deployment
requirements for large-scale city, transportation, healthcare and energy
requirements.

 This announcement comes in line with the company’s physical
security strategy evolution that started in 2011 that focuses on aligning Cisco’s
strengths with market opportunities and customer requirements to focus on
large-scale strategic deployments
