CommScope launches pre-terminated copper connectivity solution

Telecom Lead America: CommScope has launched a
pre-terminated copper connectivity solution in North America and Latin America.

The solution is designed to provide quick deployment of
large-scale cabling infrastructures in data centers.

The company will be launching InstaPATCH QUATTRO in other
markets at a later date.

The 10GBASE-T and 1GBASE-T cassette and trunk-based
connectivity solution offers high-performance with plug-and-play simplicity for
fast data center deployment.

George Brooks, senior vice president, Enterprise Product
Line Management, CommScope, said pre-terminated connectivity has grown in
recent years as a trusted means for designing and deploying data center
infrastructures.

InstaPATCH QUATTRO combines the performance and quality
of SYSTIMAX solutions along with the design freedom and installation ease
associated with our InstaPATCH fiber solutions.

InstaPATCH QUATTRO installs easily, adapts quickly and
performs reliably under the most demanding conditions. InstaPATCH QUATTRO
solutions include panels, modular cassettes, trunk and breakout cables.

With the addition of InstaPATCH QUATTRO, CommScope now offers
a full suite of high performance pre-terminated cabling solutions (copper,
fiber and cabinet) that enable true end-to-end fast deployment of connectivity
from core to aggregation to access layers. It is an ideal solution for the
deployment of pods and/or data center modules.

David Veneski, director, Datacom Installer Business Unit,
Fluke Networks, said infrastructure succeeds when it is supported by accurate
and reliable certification.

InstaPATCH QUATTRO enables customers to deploy pods
and/or data center modules but also have the ability to evolve their platform
to accommodate enhanced technologies.
