Despite the drastic rupee depreciation against US
Dollar, D-Link (India) recorded a net profit of Rs 12.87 million in Q3 2011-12.

Since
last two quarters we have witnessed steady growth and our current go-to-market
strategy has yielded positive outcome. We have successfully been able to
realize our true market potential and deliver substantial sales with 95 percent
growth in this quarter vis-à-vis the same period during last year,” said Tushar
Sighat, CEO, D-Link (India).

The
increase in broadband penetration and surge in demand for mobility devices has
resulted in good growth from consumer segment.

Further
we witnessed substantial investments being made by government and corporates in
building a safe, secure and reliable networking infrastructure, which brought
about positive demand for our product line. We also managed to bag some large
projects that contributed to the overall revenue. D-Link structured cabling
business has also shown positive signs, thereby further adding to the company
growth,” Sighat added.

Moving
ahead the company will work towards strengthening its position in cabling
segment and focus on new technology innovations that will be based on cloud
platform, as this trend is inevitable. Hence going forward D-Link’s product
line will be powered by modern technologies and will be more application
driven.

The
company will be enhancing its focus on IP Surveillance and lifestyle
networking, since it is going to be the next growth wave.

D-Link (India) Limited is
poised to carry forward this existing growth momentum and scale new heights of
success in times to come.
