D-Link starts shipments of SharePort

Telecom Lead America: D-Link, an end-to-end networking
solutions provider for consumers announced that it has started shipping its
SharePort All-in-One Mobile Companion (DIR-505).

 

The DIR-505 comes with a free D-Link SharePort Mobile app
and offers instant USB sharing capabilities, allowing users to share videos,
music, and photos from an external hard drive or thumb drive to any connected
device.

 

“SharePort instantly adds storage to your mobile
device and can also serve as a portable router/access point, Wi-Fi hotspot and
Wi-Fi repeater for instant wireless access from anywhere a network already
exists, whether at home or traveling,”  said Daniel Kelley, associate vice
president of marketing, D-Link North America.

 

Providing wireless access anywhere on available existing
network, SharePort adds instant storage to a mobile device, offering the
ultimate set of features for home or on-the-go convenience.

 

The company said that the free SharePort Cloud app for
both Android and iOS enables access to videos, music, photos, and files on
Android and iOS mobile devices.

 

SharePort also features a USB port for sharing content
from a USB storage device or charging smartphones, as well as an Ethernet port
that enables users to easily connect to an existing network in a conference
room or hotel room.

 

D-Link launches mydlink cloud services

 

Recently, D-Link unveiled personal cloud networking
solution in India. The mydlink cloud platform allows consumers to control,
view, share and access their network devices.

 

The company introduced a gamut of devices like
Cloud Routers, Cloud Camera and Cloud Storage. All D-Link Cloud products are
based on its mydlink platform and can be managed through mydlink website.
