Enterasys Networks partners with Boston Celtics

Telecom Lead America: Enterasys
Networks, a Siemens Enterprise Communications Company, has entered
into a partnership with Boston Celtics.

As part of the agreement, Enterasys will enable the Celtics
with network infrastructure equipment needed to provide the organization with wired
and wireless Internet access at the Boston Celtic offices and will leverage the
Celtics name to promote this designation throughout the region.

“As a Boston-area company, we are thrilled to
provide the Celtics with the network infrastructure needed to support their
growing needs. We are continuing to see growth in the hospitality and arena
markets,” said Chris Crowell, president and CEO at Enterasys
Networks.

As part of the agreement, the Celtics and Enterasys will
work together to develop a charitable program for Enterasys to make technology
donations benefiting the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation, which helps
children in the Boston area through programs that provide education
and support, and partners with community-based organizations that provide
healthcare, shelter and vital services for children in need.

“We’re excited to work with Enterasys Networks to
leverage its portfolio of wired/wireless network infrastructure and security
solutions. I am extremely busy and monitoring the network is not something I
want to worry about. In working with Enterasys, I have a partner who can bring
efficiencies to my network and take away the IT management headache,”
said Jay Wessel, VP of Technology at the Boston Celtics.
