FiberMedia’s Secaucus data center adds Hudson Fiber Network

FiberMedia Group, a provider of colocation and
enterprise-class resources on demand, announced that Hudson Fiber Network
(HFN), a provider of high-bandwidth, low-latency networking solutions for the
financial industry, has extended its dark fiber network into its Secaucus, New
Jersey data center.

FiberMedia’s Secaucus data center is a SAS70 certified,
high-security facility that is centrally located to U.S. equity, derivatives
and currency markets.

In April, FiberMedia announced the opening of its New
Jersey data center located in Secaucus, New Jersey. With geographic proximity
to U.S. capital markets, FiberMedia boasts microsecond delivery to U.S. trading
venues, as well as to Buy/Sell Side firms.

“New Jersey is becoming one of the most important
hubs for the financial community,” said Keith Muller, CEO of Hudson Fiber Network.

“With the NYSE data center now located in New
Jersey, the demand for high-speed, reliable network connectivity is surging.
FiberMedia’s facility provides an additional Point-of-Presence for companies to
access our network and connect to key financial hubs throughout the New York
metro region,” Muller added.

FiberMedia’s Secaucus facility provides 2N redundancy,
across all power and mechanical infrastructure, and offers five levels of
security before reaching customer environments.

FiberMedia strives to offer best-in-class network solutions to complement our managed data
center and infrastructure services,” said John Panzica, senior vice
president of Sales and Marketing for FiberMedia Group.

“HFN is the ideal example of the quality providers
our facility attracts. In addition, its guaranteed low-latency network
complements our cloud network solutions offered throughout FiberMedia’s five
data centers located in the New York Metro market,” Panzica added.

FiberMedia’s enterprise-class resources on demand provide
leading Managed Data Center-as-a-Service solutions that include colocation,
managed services, cloud networking and virtualization solutions, as well as
business continuity and disaster recovery services. Combined, these services
provide the market a holistic infrastructure service solution.
