FTS wins Western European content billing deal

FTS, a global provider of billing, customer care and
policy control solutions for communications and content service providers,
announced that it has been selected by a Western European content provider to
implement its Leap Billing, a comprehensive end-to-end billing and customer
care solution.

The service provider offers innovative content services
combining Video on Demand (VoD) and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications. It
needed a billing partner that is able to successfully support these new
services as well as offer state-of-the-art billing solutions.

By implementing FTS’ Leap Billing the service provider is
now able to bill effectively for its content and provide a superior experience
to customers, thus enabling it to more effectively monetize its network
traffic.

The implementation includes FTS
Leap Billing’s charging, billing, voucher management and customer management
platforms. Leap Billing will enable the content provider to develop new revenue
opportunities via enhanced customer service and support.

“We are delighted to be working with this innovative
service provider.  By selecting Leap Billing, this provider has recognized
FTS’ expertise in advanced content billing projects,” said Amos Sivan,
CEO, FTS.

“In addition to the new VoD services they are able
to offer, Leap Billing allows new business practices to be instantly
implemented and new services, bundles and promotions to be rolled out
immediately, without involving costly billing integration projects. Thanks to
Leap Billing, billing is no longer the traditional bottleneck for launching new
services for our customers,” Sivan added.

Leap Billing is a convergent, flexible, online charging,
billing & customer care solution that realizes substantial reductions in
OPEX and CAPEX while increasing customer satisfaction and retention.

Based on FTS’ patented business-control technology
(DoTree), the solution captures events delivered over single or multiple
network technologies in real-time and responds to them based on a preconfigured
set of business policies or actions.

This flexibility and ease of use enables the service
providers’ billing to become a business enabler for offering new marketing
plans or services, with a rapid time-to-market.
