Gary Wang joins LitePoint as VP and GM of China operations

 LitePoint, a provider of wireless test
solutions, announced that Gary Wang is joining LitePoint as vice
president and general manager of its China operations, based
in Shanghai.

 

The
appointment of Wang is part of the company’s plan to expand its operations
in China and East Asia with more regionally focused
operations and customer service support to meet the needs of their growing
customer base in the region.

 

Recently,
LitePoint, announced the opening of expanded operations
in Shanghai with a new facility in the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, a
planned area of 25 square kilometers located in northern Pudong New
Area, Shanghai.

 

“Gary
brings several advantages to our customers and market. He has an in-depth
understanding of our value chain, our technology, our value proposition and our
customers’ pain points. Gary has great relationships with many of
our Chinacustomers and he’s excited to take on the expansion of
our China business,” said Spiros Bouas, Chief Operating
Officer at LitePoint.

 

Earlier,
Wang was a part of the original LitePoint core team that designed, built and
sold the company’s first test systems. After leaving LitePoint, Wang spent
several years with Texas Instruments and Atheros/Qualcomm building businesses
from the ground up in key Asian markets.

 

Bouas
added that Gary has experience in both internal and externally facing roles,
from concept, to development, to sales and support. Bouas also confirmed that
LitePoint’s Taiwan organization will remain under the leadership
of Taiwan General Manager, Jeff Lin.

 

LitePoint
designs, develops and supports advanced wireless test solutions for developers
of wireless devices and consumer electronics, contract manufacturers and
wireless integrated circuit designers.
