“We’ve been in the Indian SMB market for over a decade now and we’ve seen
businesses struggle time and again when it comes to making decisions on the
technology required to build scale,” said
Ranjivjit Singh, chief marketing officer, Personal Systems Group, HP India.
“With ‘Make IT Happen: See Real Results’, HP and Intel want to show businesses
the value in investing in technology designed for business. Ultimately, our
objective is to empower small business owners in a way which sees them
achieving real results, while they leave their IT worries to us,” Singh
added.
Last year HP and Intel ran a similar campaign aimed at IT managers. Despite
targeting solely IT managers, the campaign last year delivered impressive
results, with over 4 million page views and 1.6 million unique visits in total.
As part of the IT Challenge, SMBs with between one to 499
employees as on 1st June 2011, are invited to submit a one-minute video
describing their IT challenge and showing how HP Products and Solutions powered
by Intel can help them solve this problem. The winning entry, selected in
combination of a People’s Choice score and an official judges’ score, stands to
win HP Products and Solutions powered by Intel to the value of INR 4,50,000 and
a free expert small business consultation. The winner’s business will be
showcased online in a video case study.
“The challenge is not only our way of helping SMB owners to connect with
like-minded people in the community, but also allows us to showcase exactly how
visible success can be delivered. Such engagement paves the way forward for SMB
owners to learn more about the multitude of technology options available to
them – from an ecosystem which promises reliability, security, manageability,
performance and innovation, but above all, delivers real results,” said
Sandeep Aurora, director -Marketing, Intel South Asia.
