Telecom equipment major Huawei is planning to launch two new Wi-Fi datacards E5151 MiFi and E8131 in India.
Both Wi-Fi datacards offer 3 times the speed than any other data card in the market.
The new Wi-Fi datacards, which will hit Indian telecom market before the festival season, are equipped with faster HSPA+ enabling 21 Mbps download and 5.76Mbps upload speed.
Huawei Wi-Fi Datacards E5151 MiFi and E8131 can connect up-to 5-8 people at any particular time and give a seamless Internet experience on the go. This feature will help cater to the needs of working professionals, SMEs, small office home office (SOHO) and large families having multiple devices.
The company says Huawei E5151 MiFi and E8131 will be priced at Rs 4,999 and Rs 2,999, respectively. Snapdeal is selling E5151 at Rs 4,599, while flipkart is selling at Rs 4,805.
Huawei E5151 MiFi Wi-Fi device can support 10 devices with 21 Mbps speed. E5151 MiFi assists users to access internet via 3G/2G network or through Ethernet port. With Lithium-ion 1500mAh battery, E5151 MiFi provides power back up of up to 5 hours.
With a dimension of 92.8*63.5*16.3mm, Huawei E5151, a pocket WiFi, supports Standard Micro USB, LED indicators and built-in UMTS and WLAN High Gain Antenna.
Huawei E8131, a WiFi datacard, functions both as a data card for a single user and as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot, which can simultaneously connect up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices. The dongle comes with a USB interface and unlike traditional datacards, which can only be powered, via a computer, the Huawei E8131 offers users the flexibility of powering with a variety of USB chargers.
Equipped with Type3i technology Huawei E8131 Wi-Fi Data Card provides up to 20 percent more upload and download speed compared to non-Type3i devices. It is inbuilt with Hi-Link feature that helps get access to Internet in 15 seconds.
