Keysight launches CXA-m PXIe signal analyzer with more options

Test and measurement vendor Keysight Technologies has released four new M9290A CXA-m PXIe signal analyzer tracking generator with options including 3, 7.5, 13.6 and 26.5 GHz.

The CXA-m signal analyzer is industry’s first modular stimulus response measurement solution, providing the telecom industry’s highest tracking generator frequency coverage, said Keysight in a statement.

The T&M solutions company said vector signal analysis capabilities are now available on the CXA-m by the N9064A VXA X-Series measurement application or 89600 VSA software.

With built-in tracking generator, CXA-m can characterize the behavior of components or subsystems, including frequency response, conversion loss and insertion loss/gain, as well as analyzing and identifying unknown signals.

Additionally, system developers can fulfill the tasks for component characterization while meeting the demands of shrinking the test footprint and budget, with the modular CXA-m stimulus response measurement solution.

In addition, telecom engineers can perform signal analysis, test designs, ensure product quality and optimize device performance as VXA measurement application provides vector signal analysis mode which supports a range of measurements, demodulation types and filters.

Keysight Technologies said 89600 VSA software measures signals, verify signal performance with multiple simultaneous views in time, frequency and modulation domains and troubleshoot via trace-to-trace coupling, triggering, record and playback.

The N9064A is one in a common library of more than 25 measurement applications in the Keysight X-Series signal analyzers.

“The modular design of the CXA-m and its industry-leading capabilities provide a powerful and affordable solution,” said Brian LeMay, general manager of Keysight’s Chengdu Instruments Division.
