Meru Networks recognized for success in enterprise wireless market

Meru Networks, a provider of the 802.11n virtualized
wireless LAN (WLAN) solutions for enterprise networking, was recognized for its
expanding global leadership in the mid-tier and enterprise wireless networking
market.

The company was credited for its outstanding achievements
in building technologically advanced WLAN infrastructure and for its wireless
networking range with ITP Technology Group’s 2011 Network Middle East
Innovation Award.

Over the past six months, Meru
has demonstrated a record of continued success in the Middle East and Africa
(MEA) markets, developing new channels with its distribution partners, securing
high-profile customer wins and expanding its leadership team and presence
across the region.

The company has also released new solutions across its
product line to accommodate evolving market demands.

“The award reaffirms what I hear from our customers.
They turn to Meru because our products and services enable them to maintain
top-quality wireless networks with fewer access points and far less
maintenance, allowing them to reduce both CapEx and OpEx,” said David
Kelly, vice president of international sales for Meru Networks.

The demand for applications in combination with the
proliferation of mobile devices has fueled the demand for more reliable
wireless networking. Meru will continue to focus on easing congestion and
wireless network management complexities for enterprises as they continue the
transformation to an all wireless network.

This prestigious recognition from the ITP Technology
group is yet another validation of the company’s global strategy to leverage a
virtualized architecture for delivering mission-critical applications across
the mid-tier and enterprise wireless markets.

It is Meru’s demonstrated leadership across its target
geographies that have garnered the attention of the ITP Technology group. In a
June ceremony, the group presented Meru with the innovation award for best
wireless networking range.

This honor marks the second consecutive year that Meru’s
solutions have been recognized by the group, after receiving the Best Wireless
Solution award in 2010. Recent strategic channel and major customer wins in the
region attracted the judges’ attention and demonstrate Meru’s market success,
earning strong, positive customer feedback.

Meru provides a comprehensive range of high-density,
high-reliability virtualized WLAN products to enterprises and mid-tier
organizations that demand reliable, scalable and secure WLAN solutions that
meet the density, mobility, and device diversity requirements of today’s
business environments.
