Telecom Lead India: MindTree, a global IT and product
engineering services company, has appointed Pankaj Chandra to its board of
directors with effect from March 19, 2012.

global footprint,” said Pankaj Chandra.
Chandra is currently a professor of Operations &
Technology Management and director at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM)
Bangalore.
Professor Pankaj Chandra is a highly respected name in
management education, research, policy and administration. His joining the
MindTree Board will further improve our stature, help question and refine
management strategy. Additionally, the move will build stronger bridges with
the academic community for whom we have abiding respect” said Albert

Chandra’s research and consulting have focused on
manufacturing management, supply chain coordination, building technological
capabilities; hi-tech entrepreneurship.
Chandra also served as chairperson of Centre for
Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship, IIM-A, India from May 1999 to
April 2001 and from November 2006 to December 2007.
A few months back, MindTree
was selected as strategic IT partner for Millennium & Copthorne Hotels’
latest e-business initiative.
