Mobile Posse unveils MobiAlerts to assist carriers to eliminate bill shock

Mobile
Posse announced the launch of MobiAlerts, a new service that proactively
addresses the FCC’s and CTIA’s call for carriers to provide alerts when
subscribers approach and then exceed their limits on voice, data, texting, or
roaming.

Carriers
only have about 12 months to deliver verifiable alerts.

MobiAlerts
are the only service that lets carriers proactively push alerts to subscribers
before thresholds are reached, guarantee delivery with a timestamp from when
they received and clicked on it, and optionally, provide an upsell
opportunity,” said Jon Jackson, CEO of Mobile Posse.

“We’re
happy to support the CTIA, the FCC, and the carriers in their efforts to
protect subscribers by enabling carriers to deliver usage alerts directly to
the homescreen,” Jackson added.

This
service provides 100 percent compliance with the new FCC and CTIA Bill Shock
best practices. The MobiAlerts platform enables carriers to communicate
with subscribers via the device’s homescreen to deliver proactive notifications
about potential account overages for data, voice, messaging and roaming
services.

Service
alerts platform features include:

  • Top-level
homescreen delivery via attractive, graphically rich media format

  • 100 percent
