Motorola MOTOKEY Wi-Fi to be available on Telcel network in Mexico


Telecom Lead America: Motorola Mobility and Telcel will introduce the latest
Wi-Fi-enabled cell phone in Mexico.


The cell phone will feature main social media apps like
Twitter and Facebook. Motorola MOTOKEY Wi-Fi will be available on mid-April at
Telcel stores at a price yet to be disclosed.



“Today, having immediate access to everyone who matters in your life, from
wherever you may be, is a top priority. Staying in touch with friends and
family has never been easier; with Motorola MOTOKEY Wi-Fi and with its
dedicated Facebook key, you can share all your life in real time,” said Silvina
Gonzalez Podesta, marketing director, Motorola Mobility Mexico.


Motorola MOTOKEY Wi-Fi will feature built-in MP3 player
and FM radio. With the MicroSD card slot expandable up to 32GB, users can store
hundreds of songs, videos or photos to own portable storage device. Motorola
MOTOKEY Wi-Fi turns into a USB drive and users can save almost any type of file
– even documents – directly on phone.



Motorola MOTOKEY Wi-Fi will be available on mid-April exclusively for Telcel
customers on pre-paid Amigo Kit at a price yet to be disclosed.




Telcel has more than 65.7 million customers and the country’s most extensive
service range covering over 200,000 towns within the country’s 9 regions, which
represents over 90 percent of all Mexican populated areas.
