MWC 2014: CSG Systems International on Tuesday said it supplied Interconnect to a European telecom service provider to manage its current TV broadcasting and video-on-demand partner ecosystem.
CSG claims that Interconnect offers multiparty settlement capabilities that provide operators the foundation to build and nurture relationships with all types of third-party service and content partners.
Increased investments in mobile networks have underscored the importance of protecting profit margins and uncovering opportunities for incremental new revenue streams, including non-traditional data and content services.
CSG Interconnect will support a suite of mobile and digital services for the operator such as content and partner management capabilities for video-on-demand and TV broadcasting offerings.
George Fraser, vice president of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at CSG, said: “Our European clients can now increase automation and streamline processes to build transaction volumes and monetize digital products and services quickly and successfully.”
CSG Interconnect also gives operators the agility to adopt flexible business models that help maximize margins by developing creative ways to share revenue among all of the partners in their ecosystems.
Meanwhile, CSG said it will be unveiling new offerings and features during Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona.
