MWC 2014: Magisto in video deal with Deutsche Telekom

At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014, Magisto, a video storytelling platform, today announced a new distribution deal with Deutsche Telekom.

This strategic partnership between Deutsche Telekom and Magisto will deliver Magisto app to millions of Deutsche Telekom’s European customers, said Magisto.

Magisto uses artificial intelligence to deliver an automatic mobile solution for creating and sharing professional quality videos. This ability for DT customers to capture and share their personal memories with their mobile devices will be even more powerful when using the recently announced DT LTE-Advanced or LTE+ network.

“The power and speed of our LTE network is available to millions of our customers across Europe, but the promise of the network’s speed and ease of use is only fully realized with applications that enhance people’s lives and keeping families connected,” said Marc Sommer, vice president Marketing for Europe at Deutsche Telekom.

Last week, Magisto said it has over 20 million registered users now, attracting 10 million new users since September, and more than 15 million users since last March.

Oren Boiman, CEO of Magisto, said: “Being able to provide T-Mobile users with a way to share videos over the most reliable network in Europe means enabling millions of meaningful interactions and the optimal experience for Magisto users.”
