National Instruments elevates Victor Mieres as VP of emerging markets for Asia/RoW

Victor Mieres

as vice president of emerging markets for Asia/RoW.

 

Mieres, who recently relocated to Singapore, will use innovative business practices to lead this high-growth region.

Mieres spent the majority of his career at National Instruments establishing many of the company’s business operations outside of the United States, including Greater China, Korea, Eastern Europe, Brazil, India and Russia.

NI has already invested in emerging markets for Asia/RoW by expanding manufacturing, sales and R&D operations to the area.

Mieres will expand the Planet NI program designed to empower engineers in emerging countries to achieve sustainable prosperity by providing them with increased access to NI technology. The program involves a range of support activities, including technical consulting, reduced pricing on NI tools, access to world-class training and technical support. Under Mieres’ leadership, the Planet NI program has grown to more than 20 countries worldwide in only four years.
