Telecom Lead India: Opera Software announced that
its Opera Mini browser is available BlackBerry App World. Now, BlackBerry users
can go directly to App World and download the Opera Mini 6.5 browser.
The Opera Mini 6.5 browser has already been available on
Opera Software’s website for BlackBerry users. Now, it’s even easier to
download via App World.
“BlackBerry is ranked among top 5 mobile phone brands in India. We are
thrilled to extend the Opera Mini experience through the BlackBerry App World.
India has emerged as the second largest user base of Opera Mini users. This
growth is clearly fueled by the shift in mobile usage pattern from enjoying
basic features to getting online by using apps such a mobile browsers on
smartphones,” said Sunil Kamath, sales director for India & SAARC, Opera Software.
Opera Software claims that more than 160 million people are now using the browser
and have discovered how the Opera Mini browser can spice up their mobile web
experience.

that’s up to 10 times faster and consumes up to 90 percent less data.
In addition, the browser has other features such as
including tabs, password manager, Opera Link and Speed Dial that makes

Recently, Samsung announced that it offers Opera Mini browser preinstalled on its new
feature phones to deliver faster and cost-saving web browsing.
