OSS/BSS solutions provider Elitecore to conduct broadband workshop in Thailand

Telecom Lead India: OSS/BSS solutions provider Elitecore
will conduct a broadband workshop in Thailand on 19 April 2012.

Elitecore will showcase how solutions like PCRF and Wi-Fi
offload help operators reduce investment while providing best-of-breed service
experience to mobile data users.

As part of its workshop agenda, Elitecore is organizing a
forum on Monetizing Data: Challenges, Strategies & Solutions through PCRF,
panel discussion on creating differentiated customer experience and a case
study presentation on the benefits of Wi-Fi offload.

According to Nielsen, smartphones are on track to
becoming the primary access point to Internet in Southeast Asia. In Thailand,
out of 21 million internet users, 17.6 million connect to web-based services
via their mobile phones. Mobile social media services are a growing buzz, with
more than 12 million users having signed up in the previous year.

South-East Asia is becoming a global innovation hub in
high speed data services. In this workshop, we look to exchanging ideas with
operators on new opportunities in revenue generation from data services. Even
as active mobile broadband subscriptions in the APAC region crossed 421
million, operators today face an immediate need to upgrade their back-end
infrastructure to be able to offer next-generation services,” said Vaibhav
Mehta, senior VP, New Business Development, Elitecore.

Elitecore claims that mobile data offload solution offers
a low investment strategy for operators to overcome the integration
challenge of their mobile IT applications with Wi-Fi.

Elitecore’s NetVertex PCRF solution can integrate with
Wi-Fi to give 3G like experience over use cases pertaining to service
innovation, personalization and monetization such as turbo boost, enterprise
policy, business intelligence and more.
